Terms of Commission
[ LEGAL PROTOCOL 02 ]Effective Date: January 1, 2026
All consultations, design plans, and on-site installations produced by Silverbrook Almanac Ltd ("the Atelier") for weddings and private galas are subject to the following contractual terms.
1. Design Retainers & Reservation
Due to our strict cap of twelve wedding commissions per calendar year, dates are secured only upon execution of a formal Scenography Agreement and receipt of a non-refundable 30% design retainer.
2. Botanical Substituted Varieties
While botanical plans specify exact varietals (e.g., specific garden rose cultivars or trailing orchids), floristry remains subject to seasonal agricultural conditions. Silverbrook Almanac reserves the right to substitute blooms of equal or superior aesthetic quality should weather catastrophes affect specific harvest batches.
3. Heritage Venue Compliance
All rigging, electrical tap-ins, and free-standing frameworks are certified by certified structural engineers to ensure zero historic fabric disturbance. Clients are responsible for ensuring that chosen venue estates permit temporary artistic installations within their operational charters.
4. Inventory & Tabletop Care
Bespoke crystal stemware, antique cutlery, and silk runners remain the property of Silverbrook Almanac unless explicitly purchased as commemorative sets. Breakages or losses exceeding standard 3% tolerances will be billed according to the Atelier replacement schedule.
